Game Day

The slumbering batsmen awoke today with the majority of Blue having multiple hits. After "maxing" runs in both the first and second innings Blue set it on cruise control to win 19-13. The 8th game of the season finally saw Jim standing at ready for nine consecutive innings of infield toss around (THAT takes precedence over his colossal home run). Quasi-rookie Al had a solid day being involved in a DP as well as taking a relay to nail a runner at third. Larry pitched and fielded superbly, especially setting 'em down in the ninth with a game ending strikeout! Thanks to all my teammates who took great joy in pointing out Tinker's first (and hopefully last) Senior Moment at short. A personal thank you to Pete for the loan of his legs today and to Ray for adding penultimate to my vocabulary.
