It was a better day to apply 5-10-10 fertilizer than what we spread on the diamond. To our loyal parka-clad fans, adorned with stadium blankets on the hill, my apologies. We played tight! Just because our opponent shows up with team jackets and individually personalized equipment bags does not justify our playing tight. Our silent bats are difficult to explain other than had the crowd shared their flasks perhaps we would have loosened up. The good news; we held Harford to 15 runs each game which was 4 runs off their average. The bad news; we scored a grand total of 13 runs which is 12 runs less than our average per game. Nice sprinting, juggling, and trapping catches from Neal (hope they didn't leave bruises).
