Split
Game one- Glenelg jumped on us with 5 runs in the first only to see Blue counter with 5 of our own. The bats were hot once again enabling Blue to prevail 16-10. As the wind picked up and the temperature cooled so did Blues bats in game number two. In the final inning we found the batting groove but to no avail as Glenelg secured the victory 13-4. Blue's infield saw multiple configurations today as a result of commonly known gracilis strains, semitendinosus pulls, rotator cuff pain, but luckily Evers overcame either a pectoralis major or clavicle contusion (I heard his uttered "OUCH" before he gunned the runner at first base). Stock tip of the day: "Invest in a company that specializes in both orthotics and analgesics catering to the over '60' crowd". At my count, a minimum of seven Blue are severely aching so we need to play through the pain come Wednesday because it's the Reds from Howard.
