Finally A Road Weary Victory

I, Tinker, appreciate you guys keeping me apprised of game day results. During my absence I have received several emails worthy of publication so today with the permission of Pastor Pugh I offer his synopsis.
"The mental and physical lethergy that Carroll Blue has been suffering of late may have passed. As has been our modus operandi we succumbed to our own mistakes in the first game giving up, by my count, 8 unearned runs while hitting poorly. In the second game our defense was solid and the bats awoke with timely hitting as we clinched a victory in the final inning of a well played game by both sides. Let us hope this win begins a long streak to first place. When we play to our potential, we can beat anyone in this league!"
I learned from other teammates that Pastor Pugh hit the game winning sacrifice.
I thank you for all your well wishes, especially the one recommending I use barbeque sauce rub to "cure my ribs" (although it still hurts to laugh hardily). Now does anyone have a suggestion to cure my numb and weakened left arm? As my doc says "You Must Mend" before retaking the field.

  1. Oh my God! Finally, you posted your blog again. I have been checking it every 30 minute for last 27 days except while I was at the games!!!!! It has been so painful that there was no blog to read after each game! Of course, it has been much more painful to watch that my dear Carroll Blue has been losing games one after another! I was almost deeply depressed by these double pains!!! Yet I guess that my pains will be gone by now since the Blue won the game and there was a blog finally! Please keep up your good work!
Now I wonder my pains could have been cured by your BBQ sauce as well???

    Love,

    Hello Kitty!
