Lead Widens

Today's 18-7 victory avenges another of our early season losses to Old Liners. Our lead has now extended to 5 games over Bel Air! PT Mike must have been serious about wanting more press as his bat was hot today! Once again we had production from top to bottom of the lineup and demoralized the opponents with our speed and defensive prowess. Hard to bestow defensive accolades today as there were so many....from Jim (The Hoover)'s portrayal of a diving Brooks to Neal's sprinting shags while fighting the sun and to the middle infielders turning double plays.

Two W's tommorow can pretty well lock it up, AND, we will surpass last year's win total with 12 games yet to be played. Yet another item of note......shine your shoes and press your shorts for Monday's game against Gray, for we may see our sponsors in attendance.
